Beginning the dating process is a journey into the unknown.
The start of this journey, intending to find a partner, the one who we will spend the rest of our lives with, can at times awaken many issues that cause concern, fear, and dilemmas. Some of these issues are existential ponderings, and some originate in confusion. Alongside them, ethical questions on what is permissible and forbidden in the process, what is desired and what is recommended. In this compilation, we will focus primarily on the ethical aspects of this path, with constant awareness that beyond these aspects – there are infinite levels to this process, and we have only tried to respond to ethical issues that according to our understanding are the most common in this important process.
We will divide our writings in this section into three chapters:
- Chapter 1: The ethical deliberations and challenges that emerge throughout the search for a partner;
- Chapter 2: During the date;
- Chapter 3: Moral dilemmas that matchmakers deal with.
